interrogating suspects. the homicide commander told us he's confident both will be charged with the murder after the interviews. >> the 21-year-old was missing since wednesday, police called it suspicious. she dropped off a friend around 10:00 that night in san leandro. that awas the last time anyone saw her. >> she dropped off a friend and never returned. she doesn't have vices. she's a student, studying to be a cop. police found her car, a white chevy, yesterday morning. her body found at arroyo vejello park. she'd been beaten and stabbed. >> she received burns.

after a resident confronted them. police say one woman was carrying a lot of mail. police found methamphetamine and stolen mail and credit cards. >> a fairfield man is in jail, accused of groping four young girls over two weeks in october. all of the incidents happened in popular stores in that area. eric thomas is live with more on what led police to this suspect. eric? >> the suspect is jailed here on $775,000 bond. the official charge, activity with a child under 14 police believe they have solid evidence on this man. the 32-year-old, in four molestations. the first two reported to officers took place on october 30th. one at this party city store,

and another, across the street. >> they learned an adult male placed his hands on the buttocks of two children that were approximately 10 years of age. >> investigators learned of another assault in a nearby michael's store. on october 23rd a 12-year-old girl at dollar tree store in sassoon city suffered i similar assault. >> while inside of the store, the male subject, we believe, went up and grabbed the buttocks of the child. >> investigators in both cities say the evidence began to pile up, and point at the suspect. >> what was the vehicle description part was information from witnesses and part obtained from security videos. >> fairfield police say this is the first time he has appeared on their radar, though he has an arrest record from nevada. this father of a young girl is just relieved to have him off the streets.

the scene of a huge fire in oakland is now the scene of a full on federal investigation. more than two dozen agents with the atf's national response team are working the site on lester avenue. the fire department asked the team for help in trying to determine the cause. today, abc7 news saw agents digging through the debris and removing large, charred beams. >> we're in the earl hi -- early stages of the investigation. we'll let evidence guide us to a conclusion. >> agents are trying to connect with anyone who may have taken

video or pictures monday morning. and plan to use a dog team to sniff for a trace of a sort of accelerant. an art exhibit is generating a lot of attention at the site of a deadly fire last year. people stopped to look at the display, it features 60 white pieces of clothing. in january, last year a huge apartment fire displaced 60 residents. the measure q, banning tents on city streets. this car lot might give rise to micro apartments. according to socket site, a developer wants to build units that would each measure fewer than 200 square feet. residents would share a community kitchen and lounge. >> plenty of space, right?
